Job summary

EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA is hiring a Unit Tech under RN supervision. You will perform direct and indirect patient care tasks, transport patients and materials, and handle clerical duties as part of a clinical team.

The role requires a WA-licensed Nursing Assistant (NA-C) and current BLS. You will support RNs with procedures and patient flow, while adhering to attendance and performance standards in a busy acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant (NA-C) certification in WA.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
• Ability to apply knowledge of basic patient care techniques.

Responsibilities

• Observes, documents, and reports changes in patient activity and/or symptoms (vital signs, respiration, comfort, intake/output).
• Transports patients, belongings, and supplies to and from locations.
• Responds to patient inquiries and call bells; seeks appropriate resources.
• Assists RNs with wound care and patient procedures as directed.
• Maintains attendance, punctuality, and dependable work performance.
• Supports department responsibilities in line with organizational policy.
