Job summary

EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Unit Tech to support patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, assisting with transport, and performing clerical tasks as needed.

Minimum qualifications include current NA-C certification in Washington and Healthcare Provider BLS by date of hire. Prior acute care experience is preferred; multiple shift options available with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (NA-C) in the State of Washington.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.
• Demonstrates ability to apply knowledge of basic patient care techniques.

Responsibilities

• Observes, documents, and reports changes in patient activity and/or symptoms.
• Assists with patient transport including moving to and from bed, gurney, or wheelchair.
• Answers patient call lights and determines nature of problems, escalating as needed.
• Assists RNs with wound care and patient procedures as directed.
• Maintains attendance, punctuality and dependability per policy.
• Supports organization with assigned responsibilities and completes tasks timely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
