EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, Washington seeks an experienced Intensive Care RN to join the 20-bed ICU. This role provides direct nursing care under established standards and collaborates with physicians and the health team to deliver high‑quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has a nursing diploma/ADN, at least one year in critical care, WA RN license, BLS and ACLS, with BSN/MSN and CCRN preferred. Relocation assistance and premium pay options are available.

Formación

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or ADN) required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in critical care or ICU.
• Current WA State RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS.
• BSN and/or MSN preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred.

• Assesses nursing needs of assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient and family education.
• Plans and evaluates patient care with the care team.

Wage Range:$48.21- $87.11 per hour

Job Summary:

Responsible for the total direct nursing care of all patients within established standards of care, hospital and unit policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Primary Duties:

• 1. Provides direct patient care and functions as a patient advocate.
• 2. Assesses the comprehensive nursing needs of an assigned group of patients.
• 3. Coordinates the patient and family/significant other education process.
• 4. Continuously plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, incorporating patient and family/significant other into the process.
• 5. Participates with physician partners and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient and family/significant other plan of care.
• 6. Effectively communicates all relevant information (e.g., patient information, safety issues, problems with equipment, quality issues, etc.) to immediate supervisor, in timely way.
• 7. Communicates and documents changes in patient condition, on a timely basis, to charge nurse/supervisor and physician.

License, Certification, Education or Experience:

Required for the position:

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required)
• Minimum of one-year recent RN experience in critical care or intensive care nursing.
• Current WA State Registered Nurse License
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS- American Heart Association by start date.
• Current Healthcare Provider ACLS- American Heart Association by start date.

Desired for this position:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• CCRN certification is preferred.
