Job summary

Idaho Falls Community Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team. The CNA provides basic nursing care within the scope of practice and acts as department receptionist, handling messages and inquiries to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role includes data entry in EMR and related systems, stocking nurse servers, and assisting with scheduling, transport, and equipment maintenance as directed by supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of a CNA program.
• Current unencumbered CNA certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care within CNA scope and meets psychosocial needs.
• Serves as department receptionist and relays messages and inquiries.
• Performs data entry in EMR and charge systems; maintains electronic bed board and scheduling.
• Stocks nurse servers and carts; assists with equipment maintenance as needed.
• Assists with scheduling and patient transport as directed by supervisor.
