Job summary

Richwood Nursing & Rehab in Oldham County, LaGrange, KY is seeking a full-time Transportation Specialist who is a CNA. You will assist Residents with loading and unloading from facility vehicles and transport to medical appointments and activities while maintaining vehicle safety and a positive community image.

Responsibilities include monitoring vehicle maintenance, following safety protocols for patient transfers, and adapting to schedule changes.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA/SRNA certification and ongoing CE requirements.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and assist transfers.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Residents with loading and unloading safely from facility approved vehicles.
• Transport Residents to scheduled medical appointments or other approved activities.
• Monitor and maintain interior and exterior of facility vehicles; ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Perform complex patient transfer techniques and adapt to schedule changes.
