Job summary

Richland Nursing and Rehab in Johnstown is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join as a Van Driver. You will transport residents to appointments and outings and assist with ADLs during travel.

You will maintain accurate transport records, collaborate with the care team, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with best practices. A valid CNA certification and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting residents to and from appointments, outings, and activities.
• Assisting residents with ADLs during transportation, including transfers and ambulation.
• Providing compassionate and respectful care to residents, adhering to our organization’s values and mission.
• Maintaining accurate records of transportation activities and resident care.
• Collaborating with the care team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of resident care.
• Participating in ongoing training and education to stay current with industry best practices.
