Job summary

HMG Healthcare is seeking a dedicated CNA/Transportation Aide in Houston, TX to support patient care and transportation within the facility. This full-time hourly role combines nursing assistance with logistics, ensuring patient comfort and safety during transfers.

The position requires Texas CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate transportation equipment safely. Experience in healthcare is preferred and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification recognized in Texas.
Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of patient care procedures and safety protocols.
Ability to operate transportation equipment safely in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with mobility and transportation needs within the facility, ensuring safety and comfort during transfers.
Perform routine patient care tasks under nursing supervision, including hygiene assistance, vital signs monitoring, and basic patient support.
Manage central supply inventory by receiving, organizing, and distributing medical and operational supplies to departments.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of transportation equipment and supply storage areas per health and safety standards.
Collaborate with nursing, transportation, and supply chain teams to coordinate timely delivery of supplies and efficient patient movement.
