The position requires a High School diploma or GED and CPR certification, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. This full-time role emphasizes safety, infection control, and teamwork with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• 1 year of experience in skilled nursing, senior living, home health, or patient transportation.
• Familiarity with wheelchair lifts, securements, and mobility devices.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients safely.
• Excellent communication and service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to medical appointments, treatments, and outings.
• Assist patients entering and exiting vehicles using proper lifting and transfer techniques.
• Deliver CNA support including ADLs and personal care as needed.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming environment during all transport interactions.
• Complete transportation logs, mileage documentation, and schedules accurately.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for all transport vehicles.
• Demonstrate adherence to infection control, safety regulations, and PruittHealth policies.
• Partner with nursing and administrative teams to coordinate smooth transport operations.
