Job summary

PruittHealth Coastal Central is seeking a Client Transportation Aide HCC to transport patients safely to appointments, therapies, and activities. You will assist with entering/exiting vehicles, provide CNA support for ADLs, and maintain a welcoming environment during transport interactions.

This role requires a High School diploma or GED, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license. Prior experience in patient transportation or skilled nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• 1 year of experience in skilled nursing, senior living, home health, or patient transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to medical appointments and activities.
• Assist patients entering and exiting vehicles using proper lifting techniques.
• Provide hands-on CNA support including ADLs and ambulation as needed.
• Maintain a positive and caring environment during transport interactions.
• Complete transportation logs, mileage documentation, and schedules accurately.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards for transport vehicles.
• Adhere to infection control and safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate transport operations with nursing and administrative teams.
