Job summary

Cedar Lake Wellness & Rehab in Texas is seeking dedicated individuals to coordinate transportation for residents to medical appointments, under supervision of licensed nursing staff. The role requires valid driver’s license and BLS/CPR certification, with Nurse Aide training preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities include organizing transport, scheduling drives, and ensuring safety and proper reporting of changes in resident condition during transit.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's Licensure for state in which you are applying.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• State-approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Organizes transportation of residents to complete required appointments based on priority of resident needs.
• Transports resident to and from inpatient and outpatient programs and to and from appropriate facilities and residences.
• Develops driving schedule based on resident’s scheduled medical appointments and program destinations; provides transportation from hospital after discharge.
• Reports changes of abnormal findings in resident status during transportation to clinical supervisor.
• Maintains safety, cleanliness, and routine maintenance of the transport vehicle.
