Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• Current valid driver’s license with no serious infractions.
• Must pass drug screen and criminal background check.
• Experience in customer service, transportation and healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients by assisting patients in and out of vans/vehicles; lifting patients on and off beds; moving them to and from treatment areas.
• Communicates with outside entities with excellent customer service.
• Comforts patients and their families by offering support and encouragement; being punctual and attentive to schedules.
• Transports equipment and supplies to treatment areas and patient care areas.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Handle sensitive patient information with proper respect or privacy.
• Ensuring all residents have a safe transportation experience.
• Engage in training upon hire and ongoing to ensure up-to-date knowledge of safety practices.
