Job summary

Noland Health Services seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide routine daily personal care for residents in a Birmingham facility. You will perform ADL tasks, monitor health indicators, and document relevant changes per the care plan.

This PRN position requires staying compliant with Alabama CNA standards, maintaining clean patient areas, and collaborating with nursing staff to ensure quality resident care and timely responses to needs.

Qualifications

• Provides routine personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Must document care as instructed and report changes to nursing staff.
• Experience or certification as a CNA in Alabama preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Keep resident rooms and care areas tidy.
• Assist in transporting residents to dining, therapy, and activities.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes.
• Encourage participation in activities and restorative procedures.
• Assist with feeding and meal setup as needed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and safe handling of residents.
