Job summary

Riverwalk Post-Acute is seeking a dedicated transport aide to assist residents with loading and unloading from facility vehicles and to transport them to scheduled medical appointments and activities.

You will maintain vehicle appearance and logs, ensure safe transfers, and be flexible with work times to cover appointments. A valid CNA credential and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CNA training with CE to maintain certification.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• GPS familiarity and knowledge of local driving area.
• No DUI or major traffic offenses in last 7 years; limited moving violations.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with loading/unloading from facility vehicles.
• Transport residents to medical appointments and activities.
• Maintain vehicle appearance and maintenance logs.
• Ensure safety during transfers and lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Flexible with work times to cover appointments.
