Qualifications

• CNA certification in MA as evidenced by completion of Nurse’s Aide Training Program and passing the MA Nurse’s Aide Certification Exam
• Clean ASI registry check
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position
• Must be able to cope with the mental, emotional, and physical stress of the position
• Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset residents

Responsibilities

• Provide routine tasks as assigned by the Charge Nurse and assist with resident care, including activities of daily living, grooming, and hygiene
• Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care and vital signs
• Assist with meal service, feeding, and meal documentation
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents, including maintaining orderly resident rooms and storing clean and soiled linen
• Follow established health, sanitary, and infection control policies and procedures
• Participate in informal and formal resident care meetings and assist with accident and incident investigations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our residents
