Job summary

Benevolent Hearts Home Care – Bedford, TX is seeking a seasoned CNA/caregiver to mentor staff and deliver high-quality home‑care services. This role focuses on leading by example, hands-on client care, and ensuring safety and compliance across cases.

You’ll coach caregivers, perform routine care tasks, and support the Care Manager with updates and training. A stable, mission-driven environment offers leadership opportunities and work‑life balance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional caregiving, HHA, CNA, or home-health experience.
• Ability to coach peers and communicate effectively with clients, families, and clinical staff.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example: launch new cases, introduce permanent caregivers to families, and model best-practice care techniques.
• Provide hands-on care: assist clients with hygiene, mobility, meals, housekeeping, errands, and medication reminders.
• Conduct home-safety assessments, routine quality-assurance visits, and document plan-of-care updates for the Care Manager.
• Deliver one-on-one coaching, skills refreshers, and ongoing competency checks for caregivers.
• Triage caregiver call-outs, fill urgent shifts, and resolve client concerns after hours.
• Address changes in client condition and keep families informed.

What You’ll Do

• Serve on the on‑call rotation: triage caregiver call‑outs, fill urgent shifts, and resolve client concerns after hours.
• Problem‑solve in real time: address changes in client condition, elevate issues, and keep families informed.

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ year of professional caregiving, HHA, CNA, or home‑health experience (lead/supervisory duties a plus)

• Proven ability to coach peers and communicate effectively with clients, families, and clinical staff
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift / transfer clients as needed
• Tech‑savvy enough to document care notes in a mobile app or EMR
• Compassionate, ethical, and calm under pressure—professional in every scenario
