Job summary

TriState Health in Clarkston, WA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support nurses with patient care and transportation and to help maintain a safe, clean environment.

Under the direction of registered nurses, you will assist with pre-operative transfers, disinfection of endoscopes, specimen labeling, supply inventories and general duties as needed. Previous hospital experience is preferred; an active CNA license and BLS are required on hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license is required.
• Current American Heart Association’s BLS certification on hire is required.
• Previous hospital/surgery center experience is preferred.
• Ability to take direction and follow through.

Responsibilities

• Assists nurses with patient care and transportation.
• Assists with pre-operative transfer of patients to preoperative area.
• Cleans and disinfects endoscopes and equipment, collects and labels specimens.
• Inventories supplies and orders appropriately.
• Duties expanded as directed.
