Job summary

PHC Home Health in North Carolina is seeking a CNA Staff Relief to provide basic patient care and assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating, under supervision of a registered or licensed nurse. This is a full-time position in Mt Holly/Gastonia area.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with mobility, documenting care, and maintaining a clean, safe patient environment.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required with at least 1 year of experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift/move patients.

A CNA Staff Relief is responsible for providing basic care to patients, as well as assisting them in daily activities they might have trouble with on their own, such as bathing, dressing, and eating. They work under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This is a Full Time position.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Take and record vital signs
• Help patients with mobility and exercise
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families
• Report any changes in patients' conditions to the nurse in charge
• Keep patient living space clean and organized
• Assist with medical procedures as needed
• Follow all safety and infection control procedures
• Complete and submit all required documentation timely and accurately

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; at least 1 Year experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and move patients
