Job summary

Providence Health & Services in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking a Nursing Assistant. Description

Provides and assists in the provision of, direct patient care under the supervision of a RN/LPN and whose activities require an understanding of basic anatomical, biological, psychological, cultural, and social sciences.

Shift / Hours

Full Time 36-hour weekly, (3) 12-hour shifts weekly. Day Shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements.
• Upon hire: Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Some college courses in nursing or therapy field.
• 3 months nursing assistant experience in acute or extended care.
