• Takes vital, documents status and gives treatment as directed by Registered Nurse
• Performs other related projects and duties as assigned

UNIT OVERVIEW: Madonna Rehabilitation Specialty Hospital – As an intermediary step from an intensive care unit in acute care, this hospital level of care focuses on medical stabilization and rehabilitation of patients with complex conditions, chronic illness or catastrophic injury.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members
• Assists patients with activities of daily living which may include dressing, feeding, bathing or any other hygiene needs
• Assists the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinations
• Takes vital, documents status and gives treatment as directed by Registered Nurse
• Performs other related projects and duties as assigned
