Job summary

Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Extended Care South unit. The position is part-time, night hours (7p-7a) with rotating weekends and holidays, providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, supporting the RN/LPN, taking vital signs, and contributing to a collaborative care team. Requires 75-hour CNA training and Nebraska certification.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the 75-hour state approved nurse aide training program.
• Active Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in good standing in Nebraska.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including dressing, feeding, bathing or other hygiene needs.
• Assists the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinations.
• Takes vital signs, documents status and gives treatment as directed by Registered Nurse.
• Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.
