Job summary

Nebraska Medicine’s Solid Organ Transplant Unit (SOTU) is a 36-bed med-surg unit for adult pre- and post-transplant care, including liver, kidney, pancreas, intestinal and islet cell transplants. CNA/Nursing Assistant roles support patient care on this specialized unit, with growth opportunities through teamwork and transplant-related programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 16 years of age required for CNA.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire from an AHA-endorsed program.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of patient`s plan of care.
