Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a CNA to join a medical surgical unit in Omaha, NE. The role covers a 40-bed med-surg unit where you will gain experience with titratable drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, wound care, high-oxygen delivery, and end-of-life care.

The position offers part-time and full-time third shift opportunities (7:00PM - 7:30AM) and a pathway for professional development within an innovative, supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 16 years of age.
• Possesses a Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska required.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of patient`s plan of care.
