Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus is seeking a Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA) for the G101 Transplant Specialty Care Nursing Unit, a 34-bed team caring for kidney, pancreas, liver, intestine and face transplant patients. You will work day/night rotations and support an RN while delivering compassionate patient care.

The role requires a High School Diploma and BLS certification; military experience is considered an asset, and STNA is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Military experience in HM, 68W or 4N0X1 considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide or assist with patient care under the supervision of an RN, including vital signs, weight, personal care, and catheter care.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental or emotional conditions to an RN.
• Assist with keeping patients’ rooms clean and orderly.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross
