Job summary

SnapCare in Moscow, Idaho seeks a compassionate CNA to provide quality resident care in a skilled nursing facility. You will support residents with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, and monitoring vital signs.

The role emphasizes infection prevention, privacy, and collaboration with nursing and therapy staff to ensure individualized care plans are met while maintaining resident dignity and rights.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification and active Idaho Nurse Aide Registry status.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the facility.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication and resident-focused approach.
• Able to meet credentialing and screening requirements.
• Able to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and daily living activities.
• Support transfers, repositioning, and mobility using equipment.
• Assist with meals and hydration per care plans.
• Measure and record vital signs and intake/output.
• Report changes to the nurse promptly.
• Document care accurately and promptly.
• Answer call lights and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Follow infection prevention and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff for individualized care.
• Protect resident privacy, dignity, independence, and rights.
