Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan in Pipestone, MN provides resident-centered care under the supervision of an RN. This role involves daily living assistance, vital signs, and supportive care aligned with the care plan.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care during the scheduled work period under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility; observe and report changes.
• Record vital signs and maintain accurate documentation; ensure infection control and PPE compliance.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, and transportation as needed to support resident well-being.
