Prescott Nursing and Rehabilitation Community is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living and basic comfort measures in a 65-bed facility near St. Paul.

You will work with the care team to monitor residents, take vitals, observe changes, and promote independence while upholding the Resident Bill of Rights and all safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must read and write in English and follow directions.
• Genuine caring attitude toward seniors.
• Able to maintain regular attendance.
• Ability to relate well to residents, families, and coworkers.
• Certified to work in Wisconsin as a CNA.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care to residents for activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mouth care, and transfers.
• Provide active and passive range of motion as needed.
• Take and record vitals.
• Promote resident independence in daily living activities.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Assist with dining and record intake.
• Collaborate with the resident care team for quality care.
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and exercise techniques.
• Use restorative techniques to support independence.
• Welcome new residents, families, staff and guests.
• Comply with Resident Bill of Rights.

Job Description

• provide direct care to residents with activities of daily living.
• 
  bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mouth care, nail care, positioning and transferring in and out of chair, bed.
• provide active and passive range of motion as necessary.
• perform vitals
• promote resident independence by allowing the resident the opportunity and time to complete the activities of daily living.
• answer call lights
• assist residents with dining, record food and fluid intake
• work with members of the resident care team to provide quality resident care.
• direct or assist residents in transfer and ambulation techniques, with range of motion and with exercise activities.
• use restorative techniques to promote resident independence and highest functioning level.
• welcome new residents, and their families, new employees and guests
• comply with Resident Bill of Rights

Qualifications

• must have the ability to read and write in English, and follow oral and written directions.
• must have a sincere caring and interest to work with seniors.
• must be capable of regular attendance.
• ability to relate positively to residents and their families, and with co-workers.
• certified to work in the State of Wisconsin as a CNA
