Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The role supports basic health needs, daily living activities, and documentation under RN supervision.

Applicants should hold a CNA certification (or be enrolled within four months) and be at least 16 years old. A sign-on bonus is offered along with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or in process with endorsement within four months.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Completes yearly competency testing and maintains CE credits (12 hours annually).
• If applicable, registered with UAP Registry.
• May require valid driver's license and ability to drive as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and eating.
• Record and monitor vital signs and changes in condition.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and walking using proper techniques.
• Support housekeeping, dining, and wellness activities consistent with care plans.
