Job summary

Courtney Manor, part of Ciena Healthcare, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care at our Bad Axe, MI location. This full-time, on-site role offers a sign-on bonus and competitive hourly wages with afternoon and night shift differentials.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, vital signs, mobility support, and documentation, all while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for residents. Beneficiary benefits and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

High School Graduate/GED is required.
Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing or graduate of state approved CNA program with passing exam.

Responsibilities

Provide direct resident care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output as directed.
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using appropriate body mechanics and lift equipment.
Respond promptly to call lights and changes in resident condition; report observations to licensed staff.
Support residents’ independence and dignity while ensuring safety and comfort.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation following facility procedures.
Follow infection control, safety, and universal precautions at all times.
