Job summary

Etowah Landing in Georgia is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to work under the supervision of RNs and LPNs, delivering basic nursing care and personal care such as grooming, bathing, and dressing, while documenting care and reporting changes.

The center offers an $18.00 per hour wage, a $1000 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, PTO from day one, coffee bar, meals, and an employee-of-the-month program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Ability to enter information into an electronic health record (EHR).
• Basic medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) to residents.
• Document all care provided and report changes in resident status to the primary nurse.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) work under the direction and supervision of RNs and LPNs to enhance the residents' experience by providing basic nursing care. Provide personal care (i.e., grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.) of residents. Documents all care provided and reports changes in resident's status to primary nurse.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education

High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited program

Required Minimum Experience

• Ability to enter information into an electronic health record (EHR)
• Basic medical terminology

Required Minimum Certification(s)

• Active GA CNA Certification on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
• Basic computer skills to include data entry.
