Job summary

The Center at Val Vista in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Nursing Staff. You will assist with ADLs, monitor patient needs, and collaborate with doctors, families and care teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a hotel-like setting.

This full-time role runs Tue-Sat, 6am–2:30pm. A current CNA license, CPR, fingerprint clearance, and HIPAA awareness are required; a pre-employment background check and drug screen will be conducted.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (preferred).
• Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and accept constructive criticism.
• Leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel-fosters a true team environment.
• Demonstrates judgement and has the ability to maintain highly confidential information and HIPAA compliance.
• Able to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs, goals and objectives of the department.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check/drug screen.
• Must possess current CNA license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all areas of the patients medical needs on a daily basis.
• Work in collaboration with patient, physician, family members, care team and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care and treatment for the patient.
• Answer call lights, assist patient with ADLs.
• Responsible for timely and accurate charting.

Job Description
