Job summary

Columbia Healthcare Center in Evansville, IN is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team. This 12-hour shift role offers day or night options with every-other-weekend schedules and no on-call requirement.

CNAs support residents with daily living activities, assist with mobility, and provide companionship while collaborating with nursing staff. Indiana CNA certification, physical capability, and a passion for geriatric care are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana CNA certification required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and resident mobility.
• Demonstrates compassionate care and commitment to senior care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care and mobility.
• Help with lifting, positioning and transferring residents as needed.
• Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team.
• Provide companionship and reassurance to residents.
• Work with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated care.
• Help maintain a safe, respectful and comfortable environment for residents.
