Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a CNA Scheduler/Coordinator in Plymouth, MA. The role partners with the Resident Care Director for Wellness Department tasks and requires a CNA; coverage in CNA capacity may be needed.

Schedule is Sunday-Thursday 9am-5pm; pay ranges from $21 to $25 per hour. Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, maintaining care records, and assisting with training and documentation for move-ins.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required.
• State required certifications and completion of Medication Aide Training.
• Computer skills required, solid knowledge of MS Office preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Checks ADL books/resident electronic health record (myUnity) for documentation and completion of care.
• Checks eMARs/eMORs and verifies medications have been given; reports omissions to RCD.
• Develops RCA staffing schedule with the RCD.
• Supports RCA staff with training and in-service completion.
• Enters resident care details into the Yardi/Resident Summary Template.
• Ensures accuracy of RCA assignments and communicates to staff.
• Assists with Care Plan signatures and orders supplies for the department.
• Coordinates QA and family meetings with the RCD.
• Provides documentation to Receptionist/Concierge for move-ins and updates.
• Assists with information for town/state-funded programs if applicable.

We are looking for a CNA Scheduler/Coordinator to join our team! As a CNA Scheduler/Coordinator , you will partner with the Resident Care Director (RCD)/ Mind and Memory Director for all administrative tasks for the Wellness Department.

This role requires a CNA and is expected to cover as needed in a CNA capacity*

Sunday-Thursday 9am-5pm

$21/hr - $25/hr

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Checks ADL books/resident electronic health record (myUnity) for documentation and completion of care.
• Checks paper/electronic Medication Administration Records (eMARs) and Medication Observation Records (eMORs) and verifies that medications have been given and treatments completed. Reports any omission to the RCD for follow-up.
• Develops Resident Care Associate (RCA) staffing schedule in conjunction with the RCD.
• Responsibility to support and assist RCA staff with training and in-service completion
• Assembles binder/non-EHR Resident Records for new move ins.
• Enters details of resident care needs into the Yardi/Resident Summary Template (myUnity).
• Ensures accuracy of RCA Assignments on paper or in Yardi and provides them to staff (if using Yardi/paper system).
• Assists the RCD with follow-up in obtaining Care Plan signatures.
• Orders and maintains sufficient supplies for the Resident Care department.
• Coordinates Quality Assurance and family meetings in conjunction with the RCD.
• Provides the Receptionist/Concierge with documentation (face sheets, DNRs, medication lists, etc.) for the Resident Emergency binders upon move-in, as required, and when changes occur.
• Assists with providing information and completing documentation for town/state-funded programs (if applicable).

Requirements:

• High School education or equivalent required
• State required certifications and completion of Medication Aide Training
• Computer skills required, solid knowledge of MS Office preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
