Job summary

Focused Post Acute Care Partners FPACP in Huntsville, TX is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our care team. The role supports residents with activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Nurse Aide certification in Texas.
• In good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry and Misconduct Registry in Texas.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident safety.
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress residents.
• Follow charge nurse's assignment schedule.
• Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Assist or feed residents.
• Keep residents clean and dry, toileting or incontinent care.
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Utilize electronic medical records charting; point click care.
