Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Respiratory Cardiology Unit. This .9 FTE, day shift position runs from 7am to 7:30pm, across three 12-hour shifts weekly with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification license required at hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required at hire.
Preferred: experience in hospital or long‑term setting.

Responsibilities

Contribute to a high functioning team.
Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights.
Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests.
Assist with client mobility and transfers using lifts and safe patient handling devices.
Provide opportunities for continuing education and professional development, including an CNA conference.
Other duties as assigned.
