Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) supports residents during scheduled periods in long-term care and works under the supervision of a registered nurse, delivering patient-centered care and daily living assistance.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, toileting, grooming, vital signs, transfers, mobility, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification or be enrolled in a CNA program.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Provide resident-centered nursing care and psychosocial support.
• Document care interactions and vital signs.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range of motion.
• Support meals, hydration, and dining experiences.
