Job summary

Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or in training within four months of date into the position.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• 12 hours of continuing education are required annually.
• Drug screen and pre-employment background screening are required.
• Annual competency testing may be required in some departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of an RN.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, meals, and vital signs.
• Document resident interactions and communicate care changes to the charge nurse.
• Support infection prevention, PPE use, and housekeeping tasks as needed.
