Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license in Maryland in good standing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist transfers.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Encourage independence and participation in activities.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Report incidents and complete documentation.
• Perform housekeeping and cleanliness duties.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Assist in planning activity programs.
• Move residents and assist with transfers safely.
• Attend in-services and staff meetings.
