Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state where the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team under licensed staff.
• Customer service oriented with ability to work under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Ability to work independently and with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within scope of practice.
• Change bed linen and maintain supplies in resident room.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with appropriate devices.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, and intake/output.
• Routinely turn and position residents and respond to call lights.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
