Job summary

Heritage Senior Living is seeking compassionate CNAs and Resident Assistants to join our caring team in a senior living environment. You will provide personalized care to residents, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Join our team to support daily living activities, observe health changes, and document care while adhering to safety and infection control standards. CNA certification is helpful, but not required, and training for CBRF certifications is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CNA certification desirable, but not required.
• Previous caregiving, assisted living, memory care, or senior living experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to complete required CBRF certifications and training.
• Ability to safely use applicable resident transfer and mobility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, and other activities of daily living.
• Provide care according to each resident's ISP.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and safe practices.
• Complete wellness checks and respond promptly to resident calls and alarms.
• Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and report concerns.
• Accurately document resident care and services.
• Assist with medications when trained and delegated.
• Follow resident-rights, infection prevention, and safety requirements.
• Participate in required meetings and training.
• Help maintain a safe, homelike environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
