Job summary

People Incorporated is seeking a CNA for full-time evening shifts in Massachusetts. The role involves assisting with daily activities, meals, personal care, and coordinating community outings, while distributing medications and upholding residents' rights.

Qualifications

• Must have MA CNA license.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Background check and driving record required.
• TB screening and renewal every two years.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities and maintain a structured routine.
• Support with meals, daily living activities, personal care and community outings.
• Distribute medications while upholding client rights and dignity.
• Implement Positive Behavior Support and Individual Service Plans.
• De-escalation and crisis management as needed to ensure safety.

What do I need to join the team?

• Applicants must have a valid Massachusetts C.N.A. Licence
• Be a compassionate person and enjoy making a difference in someone’s life
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record
• Valid driver’s license
• A TB screening and Physical is required upon hire and a TB update every two years after

What Does the Job Entail?

You will provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine that includes but is not limited to house meetings, individual community outings, meal preparation, assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, family visitation facilitation, and medication distribution while maintaining human rights at all times. This position will implement Positive Behavior Support and individualized programs as identified in Individual Service Plans. At times, de-escalation and crisis management techniques may be required to maintain the safety of others.
