Job summary

CommuniCare Health Services in Corydon, IN, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as RN CNA/QMA Instructor at Indian Creek Healthcare Center. This is a full-time role Monday through Friday with an on-call rotation during holidays.

The coordinator will lead Nurse Aide training, develop teaching materials, manage testing and documentation, coordinate state-mandated CNA training hours, contribute to quality improvement, and help orient new staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in the state where the center is located.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience.

• Coordinate/conduct Nurse Aide training classes and testing and maintain all required documentation.
• Develop materials, manuals, and teaching aides and maintain resource library Coordinate State-mandated training hours for all CNA's Participate in QI meetings to ensure staff training in identified areas of weakness.

• Conduct/coordinate skills testing.
