Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the licensed nurse
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs
• Provide emotional support and maintain a respectful and compassionate environment
• Ensure residents’ rooms and common areas remain clean, safe, and organized
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures
• Assist nursing staff with other duties as assigned

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents withactivities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding


• Take and recordvital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration


• Assist residents withmobility, transfers, and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries


• Observe and reportchanges in resident condition to the licensed nurse
