Job summary

Northwest Nursing Center in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for night shifts to provide direct resident care and assist with daily living activities.

The ideal candidate will lift up to 50 pounds, communicate effectively with residents and the care team, maintain accurate documentation, observe resident changes, and uphold safety and infection control standards while delivering dignity and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the licensed nurse.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Provide emotional support and maintain a respectful and compassionate environment.
• Ensure residents' rooms and common areas remain clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Assist nursing staff with other duties as assigned.
