Job summary

Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a Quick Response STNA (CNA) to provide urgent support during active stages of dying, offering a steady presence to patients and families while addressing evolving physical and emotional needs.

The role requires Ohio certification (75 hours), a current state nurse aide license, and at least 1 year of hospice or home health experience; travel to Green, OH is required, with evening and weekend PRN schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have Ohio 75-hour certification from an accredited program.
• Must hold an unrestricted Ohio nurse aide certification.
• 1 year of hospice or nurses aide experience required.
• Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ability to learn required clinical software and electronic records.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance.

You will serve as the steady presence families can count on, responding quickly to evolving physical or emotional needs. STNA (CNA) Qualifications:

• Must have completed an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test from an accredited program with a minimum requirement of 75 hours of certification
• Must be certified by the state as a nurses' aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification
• 1 year of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide is required
• Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred
• Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors
• Must exhibit or demonstrate the ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization
• Must have reliable vehicle/transportation, valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle
