Personal Healthcare Management LLC in New York is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct care to residents. You will assist with mobility, feeding, hygiene, and comfort, reporting changes to the Charge Nurse as needed.

The role requires NYS Certification as a Nurse’s Aide and at least 1 year of experience. The position offers premium compensation, great benefits, and opportunities for professional growth at a single-site location.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate OR Equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year prior experience.
• MUST have NYS Certification as a Nurse’s Aide.

Responsibilities

• Assists in ambulation and transfers between bed, chair, toilet, and stretcher.
• Assists or feeds resident(s) and provides water and nourishment.
• Offers and removes bedpans and/or urinals.
• Keeps incontinent resident clean and dry, changes linens and makes beds.
• Gives bed baths, tub baths, and provides skin care; hair and oral hygiene.
• Assists residents to dress and undress.
• Takes part of bowel and bladder rehabilitation program of the resident.
• Collects specimens and measures intake and output and keeps records.
• Takes temperature, pulse, and respiration; may prepare ice packs or equipment as directed.
• Observes residents and reports changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Attends regularly scheduled in-service classes; maintains confidentiality.
