Job summary

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support nursing care, patient transport and clerical functions. You will work 12-hour day shifts (FTE 0.9) and rotate weekends, with opportunity to apply for the Medical Assistant-Registered Certification and CNA credentials.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible (Must apply within seven (7) days of hire).
• Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty (60) days of hire.
• Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure.
• MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Recent bedside care experience in a health care environment.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

• Up to $5,000 sign on bonus for eligible new hires with 1+ years of experience as an CNA!
• We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off.
• As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position.
• The pay scale is $23.61 - $39.01 USD.
• However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
• If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
