Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma, WA is seeking an Emergency Services Technician to support patient care and assist in clinical procedures with a collaborative team. The role focuses on delivering safe, therapeutic nursing care within hospital policies and procedures.

The position requires WA CNA/NA-R/MA-P/EMT credentials and current BLS. Prior ED/acute care experience is preferred; MA-P requirements vary by location, with some Mary Bridge sites not requiring MA-P.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, MA-P, MA-C or successful completion of EMT Training Course.
• MA-P or EMT will be required to obtain NA-R within 180 days of hire.
• CNA, NA-R, or EMT will be required to obtain MA-P within a specified date as determined by location; Mary Bridge Hospital and Yakima locations does not require the MA-P.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT, in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferred.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $25.00 - $41.32 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
