Manatee Memorial Hospital, affiliated with Universal Health Services, seeks a Patient Care Specialist to support nursing staff and ensure smooth unit operations in Bradenton, FL.

Under RN supervision, you will assist with basic patient care tasks, clerical duties, stocking, and transportation, while upholding service excellence. Educational requirements vary, with RN-supervisor approvals for more advanced credentials.

Formación

• State of Florida CNA license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/Technical training is preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Patient Care Specialist is responsible and accountable for providing supportive patient care. The Unit Assistant assumes the responsibility for facilitating unit operations under the direction of the registered nurse, including clerical work, stocking, ordering, and transporting as well as specified patient care duties.
Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned
