Job summary

Universal Health Services facilities in Bradenton, FL are seeking a Patient Care Specialist to provide supportive patient care under licensed nurse supervision. Tasks include assisting with unit operations, clerical duties, stocking, ordering and transporting as well as direct patient care.

The role requires Florida CNA licensure and BLS certification, commitment to service excellence, and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Florida CNA license is required for this role.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Patient Care Specialist is responsible and accountable for providing supportive patient care. The Patient Care Specialist assumes the responsibility for facilitating unit operations under the direction of the registered nurse, including clerical work, stocking, ordering, and transporting as well as specified patient care duties.

Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
