Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a part-time CNA/PCA for 7a–7p shifts in Mechanicsville, VA. You will assist residents with daily living, provide mobility support, and perform light housekeeping while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

The role requires teamwork, strong communication, and a calm demeanor in emergencies. Responsibilities include activity support, documenting resident status, and helping with move-ins.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; must have completed approved PCA program per state regulations.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with residents, families and team members.
• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods and assist residents with mobility.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; participate in in-services.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Perform housekeeping tasks in resident areas and rooms as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activities for residents.
• Communicate resident status and needs to nursing staff.
• Support move-ins with emotional reassurance and orientation.
• Follow confidentiality policies regarding resident information.
